Kyriakos Drivas earned his PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California-Berkeley. His research interests include the economics and management of innovation and intellectual property. He has more than twenty publications in peer review journals including Nature, European Economic Review, International Journal of Industrial Organization and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. He has been employed as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California- Berkeley and also spent four months as a visiting economist at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has been awarded research grants and has worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at University of Piraeus, Athens University of Economics and Business, Agriculture Economics and Policy Research Institute and the Agricultural University of Athens. All these projects are related to the economics and management of patents.
