Dr Konstantinos Tsongas holds a diploma (5-year course) in civil engineering, a MSc on advanced materials and a PhD in mechanical engineering on the fields of nanocomposite polymers and dynamic behavior of machines. His PhD thesis is related to the vibration isolation performance of machines using nanocomposite mounts. His research interests include 3D printing, mechanical tests, nanocomposite polymers, vibrations, modal testing, optimization processes and algorithms. His PhD was supported by IKY (Greek State Scholarships Foundation) – Siemens, Fellowships of Excellence Postgraduate Studies program. He is the author of 19 scientific publications, including 9 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 2 book chapters in an international edition and 8 papers presented in international conferences.
